IT Specialist

 

Mena Group is seeking an experienced IT Specialist with 5-7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT systems, ensuring the smooth operation of all software and hardware used in our real estate operations. The IT Specialist will provide support to employees, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and security.

Key Responsibilities:


1. IT System Management:
• Oversee the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network systems.
• Ensure that real estate management software, CRM systems, and property listing platforms are functioning optimally.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues to maintain operational efficiency.
2. Technical Support:
• Provide technical support to employees, resolving software and hardware issues in a timely manner.
• Assist with the implementation and troubleshooting of real estate-specific software applications.
• Offer training and guidance to employees on using IT systems and tools.
3. System Security:
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect company data, including client information and transaction records.
• Regularly update systems with security patches and software updates to safeguard against cyber threats.
• Monitor and enforce cybersecurity policies to ensure the safety of sensitive data.
4. Database and Software Management:
• Manage and maintain the company’s databases, including client data, property listings, and transaction histories.
• Ensure secure, accurate, and efficient data storage and retrieval systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain software applications and systems used across the organization.
5. Collaboration with Other Departments:
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure IT systems align with business needs.
• Work on the integration of new technologies to enhance business processes and improve operational efficiency.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of IT system configurations, issues, and resolutions.
• Generate reports on system performance and recommend improvements.
 


Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field.• 5-7 years of experience in IT support and system administration, preferably in the real estate or financial services sector.• Strong knowledge of real estate management software, CRM tools, and IT infrastructure.Skills and Competencies:1. Technical Skills:• Expertise in managing IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and databases.• Proficiency in real estate management software and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, property management systems).• Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues.2. Security and Data Management:• Knowledge of IT security protocols, data protection regulations, and backup strategies.• Experience with cloud-based systems, databases, and data storage solutions.3. Soft Skills:• Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.• Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving IT-related challenges.• Organizational skills with attention to detail.4. Other Requirements:• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or after-hours support.• Knowledge of the real estate industry and the specific IT needs of real estate businesses is an advantage.
