Role Purpose

This role plays a key leadership role in driving business process improvement initiatives across multiple functions while focusing on leading large-scale, complex projects that enhance operational efficiency, optimize customer experience, and reduce costs using advanced methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile. Works closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align process excellence strategies with Vodafone’s broader objectives and ensure the delivery of measurable results. Drives the execution of cross functional company-wide programs by proposing and managing governance structure to ensure effective business decision making of the business

Role Profile


1-    Process Management & Simplification:


•    Lead and manage the execution of major process optimization projects across the organization through applying Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to achieve significant measurable outcomes in operational efficiency, cost reduction, and service quality ensuring they align with Vodafone business priorities
•    Lead the development and implementation of strategies to streamline and simplify business processes across the organization.
•    Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in existing processes and develop actionable plans to address them.
•    Collaborate, Engage and influence key stakeholders across various business units to ensure process improvements are aligned with Vodafone business goals and objectives.
•    Utilize advanced analytics, KPIs, and benchmarking to drive process redesign and continuous improvement.
•    Create and present detailed performance reports offering actionable insights based on data analysis.
•    Lead the implementation of improved processes, ensuring changes are embedded in the organization and adopted across teams.
•    Standardize best practices and document optimized processes to ensure consistency and repeatability across departments.

 

2. Program Management:


•    Report on top strategic programmes identified as imperative for Vodafone
•    Drive the execution of cross functional company-wide programs by proposing and managing governance structure to ensure effective business decision making of the business
•    Ensure effective programme management process is in place to track progress of major change programmes.
•    Manage strategic partnerships, merger, acquisition, joint venture & due Diligence opportunities
•    Supervise operations of strategic partnerships while monitoring the as-is and to-be process formations
•    Recommend action plans to increase operational performance
•    Assist on projects as needed and end-to-end management depending on requirement
•    Coordinate companywide transformation initiatives 

Core Competencies and Qualifications

  • Good strategic insights and programme management experience in highly sophisticated cross functional environment
  • Strong analytical skills (the role requires extensive analysis of trends)
  • Excellent Presentation skills.
  • Attention to details.
  • Ability to work in multitasks under pressure.
  • Self-motivated with ambitious initiatives.
  • Decision Maker

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications: 


•    7+ years of experience
•    Process improvement, Management Consulting, or transformation roles, preferably in the telecommunications, IT, or shared services industry
•    Strong communication and influencing skills, credible at chairing and able to build cross functional partnerships   
•    Successful leadership track record, preferably through managing a sizeable team
•    Excellent problem-solving skills with demonstrable ability to manage ambiguity and simplify complex situations
•    Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification is required.
•    Lean, Agile, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
•    Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus
