Role Purpose
The Mediation and Revenue Assurance Planning Specialist is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of mediation systems that ensure accurate data processing for billing and revenue assurance. This role requires a deep understanding of programming languages, operating systems, and database management. The ideal candidate will lead technical initiatives, optimize system performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational KPIs are met, and system efficiency is maximized.
Key Responsibilities
- System Development: Utilize programming languages like Java, C#, and Python to develop, optimize, and maintain software applications.
- Analysis & Design: Conduct comprehensive analysis and design of systems to meet business and technical requirements.
- Software Development Lifecycle: Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from initial planning through deployment and maintenance.
- Linux Proficiency: Apply strong Linux skills for system administration, scripting, and automation tasks.
- Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation of system designs, procedures and performance metrics.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, software developers, and business analysts, to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Core Competencies and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced certifications in relevant technologies and platforms are a plus
- Proficiency in Java ,C#, Python for system development.
- knowledge of Linux operating systems, including scripting and system administration.
- Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) practices and methodologies.
- Understanding of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
