About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Production Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and optimize all aspects of the production process, including raw material handling, mixing, extrusion, drying, and packaging.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase production capacity, reduce downtime, and minimize waste.
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to achieve production goals.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in production engineering or agriculture engineering is a must.3-5 years of experience in a production engineering role within the food processing (experience in fish feed manufacturing is a strong plus).Understanding of production processes, equipment, and methodologies.Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving techniques.Experience with Lean manufacturing principles is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong commitment to safety and quality.Excellent English language skills.Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
