- Prepare mechanical system designs, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other services.
Develop AutoCAD or BIM models for construction and detailing purposes.
Cost Estimation and Budgeting. - Prepare material take-offs and cost estimations for mechanical systems.
Assist in preparing project budgets and managing resources effectively.
Documentation and Reporting. - Develop technical reports, shop drawings, and submittals for client approval.
Maintain logs for material approvals, RFI (Request for Information), and inspection reports.
Coordination. - Collaborate with other departments like electrical, civil, and architectural teams.
Ensure all mechanical designs align with project specifications and standards.
Compliance. - Review designs and ensure they comply .
- Address and resolve issues on-site related to mechanical systems, such as material shortages or design mismatches Inspection and Testing.
- Conduct inspections for material quality, installation accuracy, and system performance.
Verify pressure testing, duct leakage testing, and other commissioning procedures.
Coordination with Contractors. - Supervise subcontractors and ensure their adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Review and approve work progress for billing and payment purposes.
Reporting and Documentation. - Maintain daily progress reports and ensure timely communication with project stakeholders.
Document changes in design and site conditions for as-built drawings.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.Strong understanding of mechanical systems and international standards.Communication and team collaboration abilities.Alexandria residence is must.
