IT Governance Assistant Manager

Job purpose:

To ensure the quality of output delivered by IT against agreed standards and measures in compliance of ITIL & ISO20K.


ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Ensure all divisional activities comply with corporate governance & regulatory/legal frameworks.
  • Present periodical analytical report for department performed activities and their impact on environment.
  • Governance the IT processes to ensure proper level of adherence to QA standards.
  • Is responsible to report his weekly work in a task sheet and to produce project status reports for all projects assigned to him accurately and as instructed to his direct manager to evaluate the quality and performance on his assigned tasks.
  • Provide enterprise-level Service Management practice to strengthen current IT environment operations and implement industry best practices leveraging the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.
  • Update the incident reporting systems with resolution information, liaise with problem management on detection of potential trends.
  • Participate in the development of IT procedures and monitor relevant practices in terms of quality of deliverables to ensure full adherence to the QA set standards.
  • Manage the receiving, logging and maintaining change requests that IT receives from ABK Business and internally within IT to ensure delivery according to expectations, adherence to the organization's change management policy.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline
  • 7 - 10 year’s professional experience
  • Banking sector experience
  • Quality initiatives/Certification
