- Supervise and manage daily accounting operations, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Inventory management.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and company-specific requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation and filing of VAT returns, leveraging expertise in VAT exemptions and regulations related to port activities.
- Lead the preparation for audits, liaise with external auditors, and address audit findings effectively.
- Strengthen and enforce financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team to enhance skills, performance, and operational excellence.
- Support senior management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to inform operational and strategic decisions.
Port Said, Port Fouad, or Qantra East residents only.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; IFRS certification is preferred.Minimum of 7 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.Prior experience in logistics, fuel, or port operations is highly desirable.Proficiency in AX 365 or comparable ERP systems.Comprehensive knowledge of Egyptian tax laws, especially VAT and customs regulations.Exceptional leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.High attention to detail and organizational skills.
