Position Summary:
The Odoo Administrator is responsible for the configuration, customization, maintenance, and optimization of the Odoo ERP system. The role ensures smooth system operation, supports users, and drives improvements to meet organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration:
- Install, configure, and maintain Odoo ERP and related modules.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime.
- Manage database backups, updates, and recovery processes.
Customization and Development:
- Customize Odoo modules based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with developers to implement new features or enhancements.
- Test and deploy customizations, ensuring compatibility with existing modules.
User Support and Training:
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve system-related queries.
- Conduct user training sessions to enhance system utilization.
- Create and maintain documentation for user manuals and procedures.
Integration and Optimization:
- Integrate Odoo with third-party applications as needed.
- Optimize workflows and processes within the Odoo ecosystem.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Design and generate custom reports using Odoo's reporting tools.
- Analyze system usage data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce security protocols for data access and user roles.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align Odoo functionalities with business objectives.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers for system upgrades and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience:Proven experience in Odoo administration, configuration, and customization.Familiarity with Python, PostgreSQL, and XML is a plus.Skills:Strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Proficiency in system troubleshooting and debugging.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Certifications:Odoo Certification (if available).ITIL, PMP, or similar certifications (optional but advantageous).
