- Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers.
- Aid in the implementation of new Settlement policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of settlement information.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes.
- Assist with and act as the primary point of contact for settlement-related requests.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Update accounts receivable and issue sales and tax invoices.
- Reconcile accounts receivable.
- Follow up on all bank accounts and ensure that bank transactions are recorded in the system.
- Checking payment scheme files to validate settlement of all financial transactions.
- Coordinate with banks to solve pending issues and reply to their inquiries.
- Communicate with system vendor and applications support to report system problems and recommend system enhancements & automation.
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of financial transactions.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.3-5 years of accounting/finance experience.Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience with accounting software.Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization.Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.Highly detail-oriented
