Job Purpose:
The Continuous Improvement Engineer leads and and participates in the continuous improvement Initiatives to focus on efficiency in the operations by working with business operations to continuously improve performance (Safety, quality, productivity, delivery and moral…) :
Identify, propose and carry out improvements inside the workshops,
Ensure accuracy methods time studies.
Coordinate continuous improvement projects. (productivity, 5S, ergonomy, etc.)
Main Duties:
Represent & execute the General management’s policies
Support Team Leaders in progress management.
Train and coach employees on the basis of Continuous Improvement.
Propose and implement improvements allowing the setting up CI.
Design for layout flow by CAD.
Define, train and Implement all Lean Basics inside the Operation
Participate and support teams to identify Muda (VA, NVA …)
Implementation of Lean Tools (VSM, 5S, Spaghetti charts, Simogram, TPM, SMED, PFEP…)
Standardize operational tools to collect data and delivered KPIs.
Ensure efficiency of the program by implementing self -assessments
Job Requirements:
University degree in Mechanical production/ Industrial engineering or related.
3- 5 years in a similar experience.
Lean Practitioner
Certified LSSGB.
Excellent professional communication in English written and spoken
French is a plus.
Basic background in all process areas of manufacturing.
Knowledge of Work Study techniques .
Knowledge of lean manufacturing/ kaizen/ continuous improvement tools and techniques.
Knowledge of industrial engineering functions.
Knowledge of operational indicators .
Project management.
Learning and thinking skills including problem solving techniques.
