Resident Engineer (Alexandria)

  • Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites.
  • Supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to design, specifications, safety standards, and quality control.
  • Monitor the performance of contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Coordinate and communicate regularly with the Client, Contractor, and other engineers to resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant construction codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
  • Track construction progress and compare it to the project schedule.
  • Ensure that the work is progressing according to timelines and advise on any potential delays or bottlenecks.
  • Maintain a daily log of site activities, including workforce, materials used, and any changes in the work
  • Ensure that all contractual requirements are adhered to during construction.
  • Review and approve contractor progress claims, invoices, and work schedules.
  • Monitor the accuracy and completeness of as-built drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Maintain detailed records of all construction activities, inspections, and meetings.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, issues, and resolutions to the client or project manager.
  • Document and file any site changes, delays, or incidents.
  • Provide technical expertise and advice to contractors and the project team during the construction phase.
  • Interpret and clarify design documents, construction drawings, and specifications.
  • Assist in addressing any design-related issues or modifications that may arise during the project.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 20 years of experiencePMP Certification is a plus
