Purpose of the job
Conducting partnerships with key entities that would grow and develop the mobile money business across the market as well as liaison with relevant organizations to ultimately reach and achieve financial inclusion that would maximize mobile money active base and revenues.
Duties and responsibilities
- Provide the strategy road map for business development of mobile money
- Identify, source, and conduct meetings with relevant potential partners to market and pitch mobile money services and close contractual deals for revenue growth
- Support internal stakeholders and executives to identify new innovative product and service market trends to expand the mobile business
- Constantly manage partners to increase business scope and build a win-win partnership
- Proactively promote company services to provide integrated solutions for partners
- Manage & develop the mobile money team to increase the market reach across industries
- Analyze market and competitor moves to continuously set the strategy with partners that would introduce new business opportunities
Job specification
Education
- Bachelor degree from a recognized university in one of the following fields: Business, Economics, engineering, or technology
- Masters degree is a plus
Experience
- 8-12 years experience in a related field; 4 of which in a managerial role.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in the telecommunication sector.
