Job Title: HSE Specialist
Location: East Port Said

Job Responsibilities:

1. Inspection and Monitoring of the Shipping Quay:

Ensure the quay's safety and operational readiness.

Verify the organization of equipment and the availability of safety measures during operations.

 

2. Supervision of Equipment Transportation:

Monitor the safe and efficient transport of equipment.

Ensure proper securing and safety of equipment during transportation.

 

3. Securing and Preparing Vessels for Operation:

Inspect vessels before operations to ensure compliance with safety requirements.

Oversee the safety of the vessel during loading or unloading.

 

4. Ensuring Employee Safety:

Ensure all workers wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Provide regular safety and emergency procedure training for employees.

Verify adherence to occupational safety procedures and instructions.

 

5. Ensuring Equipment Safety:

Oversee regular maintenance of all equipment and machinery.

Report any defects or potential hazards in the equipment and take necessary actions.

Ensure the proper and safe use of equipment according to operational guidelines.

 

6. Monitoring Violations:

Record environmental violations related to loading and unloading operations.

Report safety violations and take necessary corrective actions.

 

7. Securing Truck Routes:

Monitor truck movement within the port to ensure adherence to designated routes.

Ensure drivers comply with safety procedures.

 

8. Supervising Storage and Loading Operations in Yards:

Oversee yard organization and allocation of appropriate storage spaces.

Ensure adherence to safety guidelines during loading and storage operations.

 

9. Monitoring All Operations and Equipment:

Track equipment and truck performance during daily operations.

Ensure periodic maintenance of equipment to avoid malfunctions.

 

10. Securing the Work Area:

Install safety signs and warnings at work sites.

Supervise the provision of personal protective equipment to workers.

Follow up on emergency procedures and potential incident responses.


Bachelor degree in any related field.From 1 to 2 years of experience.Oil&Gas, Logistics, Warehouse and construction fields are preferred.Preferable to have NEBOSH or OSHA CertificatesOccupational Health and Safety Specialist Certificate
