Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Cloud Engineer with experience in Linux systems to join our growing team in Mohandeseen. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling our cloud infrastructure across Huawei Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, and Google Cloud. You will play a key role in setting up 3-tier environments and ensuring the security and reliability of our cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Huawei Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, and Google Cloud.
- Build and maintain 3-tier environments (web, application, and database tiers).
- Configure and manage Apache and Nginx servers for high availability and performance.
- Implement DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Manage containerization using Docker and assist in deploying cloud-native applications.
- Configure and optimize firewall rules, WAF (Web Application Firewall), and other security measures.
- Ensure database reliability and performance, with MySQL as a plus.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring the availability and reliability of all environments.
- Work closely with the development and QA teams to support continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing initiatives.
Technical Skills:Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps roles.Proficiency in Linux system administration.Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization.Experience with GitLab for CI/CD and version control.Strong knowledge of Apache and Nginx server management.Experience with Huawei Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, and Google Cloud is highly desirable.Familiarity with firewall configuration and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).Basic understanding of Cybersecurity principles and best practices.Database Skills: Experience with MySQL is a plus.Networking: Understanding of network security, firewall rules, and VPN configurations.Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly in cloud environments.Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team, supporting developers, QA, and other stakeholders. Preferred Skills:Experience with cloud platforms (Huawei, Azure, GCP, AWS).Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git).!
