- Oversight of all finance and accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, revenue recognition, and cash management, and ensuring that the books are closed in accordance with the Company’s internal guidelines
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide the accounting team, providing leadership and development.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Ensure the accuracy and timely submission of all statutory financial reports and filings.
- In partnership with the CFO, serve as the technical accounting decision-maker for the company – implement accounting policies across the organization.
- Report to the CFO with timely and accurate financial information.
- Champion and roll out system enhancements and ensure team is fully maximizing the potential
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.Min. 8 years of experience in General Accounting management.Experience in logistics and transportation fields industry or related sectors is highly preferred.Excellent commend of English Language is a must.Leadership abilities with experience in managing and directing a team.Excellent communication and people skills.Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a detail-oriented approach.Familiarity with financial accounting statements.Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like QuickBooks, also ERP systems (Odoo User).Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
