Procurement Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure the timely procurement of quality goods and services at the best possible price, in alignment with company objectives and budget.
Vendor Management:
Identify and establish strong relationships with new and existing suppliers, ensuring reliability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with company standards. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to maximize value.
Cost Optimization:
Continuously monitor and evaluate market trends, supplier performance, and cost-effective sourcing opportunities. Ensure purchasing decisions are aligned with cost-reduction goals without compromising on quality.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
Work closely with production, logistics, finance, and other departments to understand operational needs and forecast purchasing requirements. Ensure clear communication regarding procurement needs, delivery schedules, and budget constraints.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and manage the purchasing team, providing direction, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, cost savings, and inventory status to senior management. Use data-driven insights to improve procurement strategies and processes.
Bachelor’s degree Proven experience (4+ years) in supply chain managementExperience in spare parts and production supplies is preferred.Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities.Knowledge of industry trends and market conditions.
