- Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database
- Define cost centers and operation resources, and agree on the allocation method of the general expenses.
- Coordinate with all managers to identify allocation basis of cost elements.
- Review and audit Bills of Materials (BOM) to ensure they reflect the latest manufacturing practices and all costs are adjusted correctly.
- Analyze actual labor, material, and all overhead cost against Standard/Budget.
- Implement and apply cost accounting policies and procedures as they are derived.
- Assist in implementing ERP processes in costing and inventory management, prepare budgets and plans, and set policies and procedures for costing and inventory management.
- Prepare and discuss all reports about the slow moving and non moving items on monthly/quarterly basis.
- Assist in setting the budgets and plans by cost center, cost element and product.
- Analyze the actual results versus the planned cost of each product and attribute the variances to the root cause.
- Advise the management on the deviations and the root causes and recommend appropriate actions.
- Prepare reports to assist in controlling materials and work in progress, finished products and obsolete materials.
- Ensure that the Company’s finance resources are most effectively utilized through monitoring production costs.
- Act as central point for any revision that may become necessary to the stock- taking procedures
- Initiate and propose amendments to existing procedures to meet the continuously changing business needs.
- Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts
- Assisting in month-end and year-end closing
University degree in accounting.Post-graduate studies will be an asset.3-7 Years experience in the Industrial & Manufacturing costing field.ERP system experience is a must.MS Office good user.
