1.Product Inspection & Testing: Conduct routine inspections and testing on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to verify compliance with internal and external quality standards.
2. Quality Control Procedures: Implement and monitor quality control processes across production lines to ensure all products meet established specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
3. Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data from testing and inspections. Prepare reports on product quality, non-conformances, deviations, and improvement actions. Present findings to management and relevant teams.
4. Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions: Investigate any non-conformities, deviations, or quality complaints. Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
5. Sampling & Analysis: Develop and manage sampling protocols, including product testing and quality audits. Ensure all products are tested for quality at key stages of the production process, conduct laboratory tests on samples from production batches, including physical and chemical tests. Document test results and evaluate product quality based on predefined criteria.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental laws.
7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements related to quality control. Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, enhance efficiency, and increase product consistency.
8. Training & Development: Assist in training production staff and new hires on quality standards and best practices. Promote a culture of quality awareness and accountability across departments.
9. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, R&D, supply chain) to resolve quality issues, improve production processes, and maintain product quality throughout the lifecycle.
10. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of quality control tests, inspections, and deviations. Prepare and present detailed reports for internal teams and management, including non-conformances, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
