Purpose of the job
Developing marketing plans, setting budgets and contributing to developing strategies to achieve commercial KPIs in relation to the Hybrid segment including Revenues Growth, Usage Stimulation, Active Base Growth, High Value Customer Base Growth, Hybrid Market share Growth, Hybrid Value Share Growth, and ARPU in relation with the companys overall objectives.
Duties and responsibilities
- Contribute in setting the strategy and roadmap for segments within the scope of responsibility
- Contribute in setting the segments business strategy
- Create value for Orange Egypt through growing customer base, revenues, market share & value share.
- Define the positioning for the sub-brands and clear brand guidelines in cooperation with the Communications department
- Contribute to the process of developing the marketing plan for the segment and managing the effective implementation of the planned initiatives
- Responsible for setting sub-department targets
- Responsible for achieving the segment commercial KPI
- Manage the \"go-to-market\" process as well as own overall customer experience ensuring customer satisfaction
- Responsible for the Hybrid base KPI's, aiming at maximizing Hybrid base and preserving customers value
- Align management on required tactical moves regularly
- Work closely and lead the team efforts with department Heads and Senior management counterparts in:
Sales, Finance, Technology, Customer Service, Project Management, Pricing to accomplish marketing plans effectively and facilitate any obstacles that may hinder the timely implementation of ongoing plans - Align top management (Commercial VP, Marketing Director and Pricing) on the progress of ongoing plans, elaborates on business impact and highlights possible risks of competitions market move
- Design and implement well defined tariff plans, product portfolios, acquisition offers and processes to ensure consistent ARPU and revenue growth
- Overview the end-to-end acquisition activities and promotions aimed at increasing Orange Egypt revenues and subscribers base
- Overview the teams requirements from market research to design telling needed research about consumer insights
- Overview the teams requirements from channel marketing team to ensure best visibility of products and promotions as well as proper animation in channel
- Manage and develop the Hybrid Acquisition & Revenue Growth teams to ensure healthy and profitable growth of revenues and market share nationwide
- Responsible for reviewing all customer touch points and customer journey to ensure best customer experience, and directs all relevant enhancement required across the Hybrid portfolio
- Accountable for achieving the sub department objectives (Revenues - Gross Adds - Subscribers base - ARPU - customers satisfaction)
- Full awareness of market dynamics of competition tactical and strategic moves taking needed remedial actions
- Ensure market leadership within the Hybrid segment and that Orange Egypt is the operator of choice for both existing and Hybrid prospects.
- Awareness of competition service evolution to analyze their actions and update roadmap accordingly
- Manage and analyze current performance, trends, market conditions to help in taking necessary tactical moves & recommending base growth and increase customers ARPU.
- Analyze market, consumer, competitive information to set new product pricing and manage price on existing portfolio. Develop pricing and product strategies and improve profitability.
- Liaise with Orange group for product innovation and enhancement.
- Lead, Coach and develop the team of experts responsible for developing the marketing activities and proposition aimed at growing the number of Hybrid subscribers and their revenues
- Conduct regular performance and competency evaluations for direct reports
- Build a proactive/customer-oriented culture
- Motivate and inspire direct subordinates and their teams to achieve the segments specific goals
- Direct interface and influence on all support functions to ensure the delivery of Orange Egypt Revenues & Subscribers growth objectives.
Job specification
Education
Bachelors degree from a recognized university in one of the following fields: Business Marketing, Economics
Experience
- A minimum 9 years of experience in marketing
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in the telecommunication sector
