1. Project Management
- Lead MEP project phases from initiation through completion, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Develop and execute project plans, methodologies, and schedules to align with organizational goals and standards.
2. Contractor and Consultant Coordination
- Oversee contractor and consultant activities to ensure compliance with contract terms and quality standards.
- Conduct regular meetings with project stakeholders to monitor progress, address issues, and align on project goals.
3. Technical Oversight
- Review and approve MEP designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams on MEP-related matters, ensuring adherence to best practices and relevant codes.
4. Client Relations
- Act as the primary contact for the owner, representing client interests with technical contractors and consultants.
- Prepare and deliver project updates and reports, detailing progress, challenges, and potential scope changes.
5. Budget Management
- Track MEP-related budgets, monitor expenses, and promote cost-effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and approve contractor invoices and payment requests, ensuring alignment with project budget constraints.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.3 to 5 years of experience in MEP project management, ideally in the retail industry.Comprehensive knowledge of MEP systems and processes.PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with contractors, clients, and consultants.
