What will I be doing? As the Assistant Manager - OS&E (Operating Supplies and Equipment) & Purchase, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of OS&E items.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and prices with suppliers to secure the best deals and ensure the quality of goods.
- Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for OS&E items to ensure sufficient stock while minimizing excess inventory.
- Implement and manage reordering processes to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Oversee the inspection and acceptance of goods upon delivery to verify their condition and adherence to order specifications.
- Monitor and control the budget for OS&E purchases, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Prepare and analyze reports related to purchasing and inventory management to support decision-making and financial planning.
- Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities, including contracts, invoices, and inventory reports.
- Assist in forecasting future needs based on historical data and upcoming projects or events.
- Regularly evaluate supplier performance and adjust strategies as needed to maintain or improve service levels.

An Assistant Manager - OS&E (Operating Supplies and Equipment) & Purchase serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
• College graduate with at least 2 years of working experience as a Purchasing Supervisor.
• Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word and the hotel inventory / purchasing software.
• Able to lead, provide guidance and develop team members.
• Knowledgeable of supplies.
• Possess a sense of maturity and reliability.
• Good command English, both written and verbally to meet business needs.
• Prior experience in related work preferred.
• Able to be resourceful, creative and maintain flexibility in relation to working hours, especially at month end and during stock take.
