About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Telecom Engineer to join our dynamic design team in Cairo for large scale projects in MENA region, with the benefit to work with our large construction company in Saudi Arabia. As a Senior Telecom Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing complex electrical & telecom engineering projects from concept to completion. You will be responsible for developing innovative and cost-effective electrical designs that meet all applicable codes and standards. You will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior engineers, ensuring that they develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the profession.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex electrical & telecom engineering projects from concept to completion
• Develop innovative and cost-effective electrical & telecom designs that meet all applicable codes and standards
• Prepare and present electrical & telecom drawings, specifications, and other project documentation
• Conduct electrical analysis and design calculations using industry-standard software
• Manage project budgets and timelines
• Oversee the work of junior electrical & telecom engineers and provide them with mentorship and guidance
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in the electrical engineering industry

QualificationsBachelor’s degree of Electrical Engineering from an accredited universityMaster’s degree of Electrical Engineering is a plusProfessional Engineer (PE) license in the state in which you practice10-15 years of experience as a licensed electrical engineer with a proven track record of successProven track record of success in leading and managing complex projectsStrong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practicesProficient in electrical analysis and design software, including AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, and PowerCAD.Excellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and time management skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProficient in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, Navisworks, and other engineering design softwarePrevious experience in different types of projects in Gulf (Hospitals and healthcare facilities, hospitality, educational buildings, residential, administration and mixed-use buildings)LEED-Certified candidates is a plusFluency in English and Arabic is required.Additional Skills and Knowledge:Experience and Knowledge of hospitals, healthcare facilities and medical colleges design projectsKnowledge of electrical power systems, including generation, transmission, and distributionExperience with electrical equipment, such as transformers, motors, and switchgearFamiliarity with electrical safety standards and codesAbility to troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems
