- Ensures inspection is carried at different stages, incoming, in process and outgoing as per the required standards and oversees the issuance of reports communicating defect rate at each stage accordingly.
- Investigates and takes corrective action if the preset quality standards at each stage are not met.
- Conducts audit visits for internal and external to both current and potential suppliers to ensure their compliance with the company’s quality standards and issues a report per each visit.
- Establishes reports communicating quality standards of different suppliers from which the approved vendor list is prepared to reach the minimal incoming defect rate in the supply chain.
- Ensures engineering change notes (ECN) are prepared, communicated, and distributed to the concerned departments, in order to guarantee timely and accurate issuance of ECNs and correct implementation.
- Updates quality guidelines in order to provide recommendations detailing areas of improving quality.
- Confirm customer quality abnormalities, communicate with concerned departments to find root cause analysis, improvement. Follow-up to ensure root cause problems are solved and not repeated in the company.
- Ensures all manufacturing equipment & tools are in good condition and calibrated to ensure accuracy of testing.
- Conducts performance appraisals sessions of their direct subordinates in due time.
- Approves and follows-up on the implementation of training and development plans for department staff.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, general business diploma is a plus.1-3 years of experience in same field or electronics manufacturing field.Proficient in Microsoft office or related software, using ERP is a plus.Very Good English is a must.
