QA & QC Section Head

This role will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance, quality control, and health, safety, and environment (HSE) activities across all production processes. This role ensures that products meet established quality standards and that all operations comply with HSE regulations. The role involves implementing quality and safety management systems, conducting inspections, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The candidate must ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements while managing a team of QA/QC inspectors, engineers, and HSE officers.


Quality Assurance Management:



  • Develop and implement QA processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of quality management systems (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.

  • Lead internal and external audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives


Quality Control Oversight:



  • Supervise all QC activities, including inspection, testing, and monitoring of materials and finished goods.

  • Ensure quality control measures are integrated throughout the production process.

  • Analyze quality performance data and create reports on product quality and trends.

  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues.


HSE Management:



  • Ensure the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems.

  • Conduct HSE risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to reduce workplace hazards.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE regulations, standards, and company policies.

  • Provide training and awareness programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

  • Monitor and report HSE performance, identifying areas for improvement.


Compliance and Regulatory Standards:



  • Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international regulatory standards related to quality and HSE.

  • Stay updated on industry changes and regulatory updates and adjust processes accordingly.

  • Support customer and third-party audits for quality and HSE compliance.


Team Leadership:




  • Lead and mentor the QA/QC and HSE teams, providing guidance and development opportunities.




  • Set clear objectives and KPIs for the teams to ensure both quality and HSE goals are achieved.




  • Coordinate training for team members on quality control, HSE, and compliance requirements.




Continuous Improvement:



  • Identify areas for improvement in production, quality, and HSE processes, driving initiatives for enhanced performance.

  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and monitor their effectiveness.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, quality excellence, and safety across the organization.
