Ticketing Agent

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service by responding to customer inquiries regarding ticket availability, pricing, and schedules. Assist customers with reservations, changes, and cancellations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Utilize computerized reservation systems, such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo, to book and issue tickets for flights, trains, buses, or events. Ensure all booking details are accurate, and provide electronic or printed tickets as required.
  • Assist customers in planning comprehensive travel itineraries, including connecting flights and additional services such as car rentals, accommodations, or tours.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints, including issues related to flight delays or cancellations. Offer alternative solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all bookings, payments, and customer interactions. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Promote additional services such as travel insurance, seat upgrades, and special travel packages to enhance customer experiences and increase revenue.
  • Stay current with travel industry regulations, IATA notifications, fare changes, and airline policies to provide accurate and updated information to customers.


       Required Skills:

  • 3-4 years of experience in ticketing, reservations, or a similar customer service role.
  • Proficiency in global distribution systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage challenging situations with quick, efficient solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) is essential.
