Digital Business Solutions Senior Manager

To build the Digital Business Solutions department within the Digital Transformation business unit and work on putting a strategic framework for customer facing solutions to provide an optimum digital customer experience and propose digital business solutions to transform an organization’s traditional business activities into digital ones, creating new value through the smart use of digital tools, platforms, technologies & services across different LoBs.

Job Description

  • Supervising and steering a digital products portfolio to fulfill the digital transformation strategic objectives aligned with the organization’s goals & directions.
  • Drive digital product roadmaps and long-term vision to deploy best in class digital products across GB Auto LoBs as per industry trends.
  • Create and support an environment of digital innovation and best practice, ensuring the use of technologies for the benefit of stakeholders and members and serve as a cross-functional change agent across the organization.
  • Identifying new tools/platforms includes but limited to: Artificial Intelligence, digital interfaces, M2M, IoT platforms, Telemetry, Cloud based solutions, DWH/Data lakes/Big data analytics, Mobile Apps, Chatbots, etc. that can support, enhance and improve our business activities and our customer experience and engage with related BUs to deploy such solutions.
  • Create and embed a prioritization approach to develop a roadmap for innovation with the relevant processes, tools and metrics to support business objectives and new growth opportunities using the latest industry trends.
  • Set and implement digital strategy by working with cross-functional partners to map and transition traditional processes to digital ones.
  • Partner with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
  • Owning and evaluating organizational transformations and delivering large scale change that add value from data and information perspective.
  • Communicate with leadership teams on a regular basis.
  • Be a digital evangelist, championing the use of digital technology and practices to engender a digital mindset from the top down.
  • Identifies new use cases and opportunities with operational entities and other parts of the business which will reflect better efficiency and customer experience for our internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to co-develop a roadmap and drive products and features from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment.
  • Partner with Digital Transformation Program Management team to manage the related digital products pipeline and backlogs to ensure that technology teams delivers all capabilities on time and per expectation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive business needs related to product development and delivery.
  • Measure ROI on digital projects, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure we're investing in the right tools and resources.
  • Ensure that all relevant digital initiatives are fully integrated into the strategic-planning process for leadership commitment, resource allocation and execution.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate dependencies between teams, understand business use cases, goals and requirements for evaluations, proof of concepts and pilots.
  • Ability to craft a product vision (short to long term) and convert that into a concrete strategy.
  • Partner with business owners and agile product teams to build product roadmaps that will be incorporated into the broader company product portfolio plan.
  • Work with marketing teams across different LoBs to develop positioning and messaging to ensure differentiation from competitors with respect to the digital portfolio.
  • Leading ongoing reviews of digital business solutions with upper management and developing optimization strategies that best fit the business needs.
  • Allocating resources properly and maintaining cost efficiency with respect to the proposed digital solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related information technology fields.
  • Certificate in IT management related is preferred.
  • Advanced degree in business, technology or engineering is preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in IT/Telecom/Digital Transformation related jobs.
  • 7+ years experience managing and leading a digital team designing and launching digital related platforms.
  • People Management Skills.
  • Proven experience of providing strategic and technical leadership to large complex organizations.
  • Product management and/or product development experience.
  • Comfort working with both Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
  • Good knowledge of Oracle suites & other digital related solutions such as Artificial Intelligence, M2M/IOT/Automation Platforms/CMS/Cloud solutions/Telemetry, etc.
  • Good knowledge of DWH/Data Lakes/Big Data Engines.
  • Websites / Mobile Apps product management.
  • Fair knowledge of business intelligence tools usage (i.e. Power BI, Tableau).
  • Fluent in English
