We are looking for an experienced Art Director to join our dynamic marketing department. The successful candidate will lead a team of graphic designers, overseeing the creation of compelling visual content that supports our marketing campaigns, private label designs, and overall brand identity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creative Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of graphic designers to produce high-quality visual content.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages creative thinking.
- Design Strategy:
- Develop and execute creative concepts for marketing campaigns, including key visuals, promotional materials, and in-store displays.
- Oversee the design and development of private label packaging and artwork, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and market trends.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to translate strategic objectives into impactful visual designs.
- Brand Development:
- Maintain and enhance the visual identity of our brands across all marketing channels.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual style in all creative outputs.
- Work closely with the Brand Managers to develop and refine brand guidelines.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Allocate resources effectively within the design team to meet project requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Liaise with external agencies, printers, and production companies when necessary.
- Quality Control:
- Review and approve all creative materials before final production.
- Ensure all designs meet technical requirements for various media (print, digital, packaging).
- Innovation:
- Stay updated on industry trends, design tools, and technologies.
- Introduce new ideas and creative approaches to enhance our marketing efforts.
Education:Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, or a related field.Experience:Minimum of 7 years of experience in graphic design, with at least 3 years in a leadership or art director role.Proven experience in creating designs for marketing campaigns, packaging, and branding, preferably within the retail or FMCG sector.Skills:Design Proficiency:Expert knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects, including campaign visuals and packaging design.Leadership Skills:Experience managing and developing a team of designers.Ability to inspire and motivate creative talent.Strategic Thinking:Ability to align creative concepts with marketing strategies and business objectives.Strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts.Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.Ability to articulate creative ideas and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Project Management:Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.Technical Skills:Knowledge of print production processes and requirements.Familiarity with digital design, UI/UX principles, and motion graphics is a plus.Personal Attributes:Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for design.Proactive problem-solver with a can-do attitude.Adaptable and open to feedback, with strong interpersonal skills.
