Project Coordinator

A Project Coordinator in a design firm plays a vital role in supporting the design team and ensuring the effective coordination of projects from inception to completion. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The Project Coordinator acts as a liaison between team members, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and delivery of high-quality design solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborating with design team members to plan and organize project activities.
  2. Coordinating project schedules, deadlines, and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
  3. Managing project documentation, including design briefs, drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
  4. Tracking project progress and budgets to monitor resource allocation and expenses.
  5. Communicating project updates, status reports, and deliverables to team members and clients.
  6. Organizing and facilitating design meetings, reviews, and presentations.
  7. Assisting in the preparation and submission of project proposals and design concepts.
  8. Resolving project-related issues, conflicts, and risks in a timely and effective manner.
  9. Ensuring compliance with design standards, regulations, and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Architecture/Structure) or Similar.Previous experience in project coordination within a design firm or contractor .Proficiency in engineering drafting software.Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy in design documentation.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.Knowledge of design processes, principles, and trends.
