Job Summary: The Senior Materials Engineer (Site) will be responsible for overseeing all materials-related activities on a hotel construction project in the North Coast and supervising construction activities, ensuring design compliance, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of the project.

Responsibilities:

• Testing and Inspection: Oversee and review tests, both on-site and off-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Quality Control: Ensure the proper implementation of testing procedures and protocols and verify the quality of materials used in the project.
• Supervision: Manage laboratory technicians and ensure the accurate operation of all sampling and testing work.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all tests and inspections and prepare reports on material quality and compliance.
• Coordination: Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure materials meet project requirements.
• Compliance: Ensure all materials and processes comply with relevant regulations and standards

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years’ experience in a similar position, with extensive experience in materials testing and quality control.

Skills:

• Excellent understanding of construction materials and testing procedures.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
