specific project. This project will require creative and technical expertise in customizing and
developing a high-quality WordPress website.
Job Description:
As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining
a custom WordPress website This role will involve both front-end and back-end development,
including plugin customization, theme development, and ensuring the website is optimized for
performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements.
● Modify and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins.
● Collaborate with the design and content teams to implement UI/UX best practices.
● Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs promptly.
● Optimize the website for speed, performance, and scalability.
● Ensure the website is responsive and mobile-friendly.
● Implement security best practices to protect the website from vulnerabilities.
● Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
● Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine specifications and requirements
based on technical needs.
● 2+ years of experience working with WordPress development.● Proficient in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.● Experience with PHP and MySQL for back-end development.● Knowledge of WordPress theme and plugin development from scratch.● Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.● Experience with website performance optimization (caching, image compression, etc.).● Strong understanding of web security practices.● Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.● Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote work environment.Nice to Have:● Experience with WooCommerce or other WordPress-based e-commerce solutions.● Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.● Experience with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.● Basic knowledge of SEO best practices.Benefits:- Flexible working hours (part-time, 20 hours per week).- Opportunity to work on a creative, impactful project.- Hybrid work-friendly.
