Job Purpose: Responsible for Planning and approves technology management activities (intellectual property protection - strategic choice - external cooperation) It searches and drafts patents and supports the application process based on the required technical expertise
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and follows up the implementation of the roadmap identification process with the aim of reaching technologies that support the achievement of strategic goals
- Plan and follows up procedures for cooperation with universities and research agencies in order to achieve the desired results from each cooperation agreement
- Review and approves the inputs of the research process and the final reports of the search results in order to ensure that the search results match its objective
- Search for patents according to the search inputs in order to access the information required to be extracted from the search process
- Undertake the process of drafting the patent in cooperation with the owner of the invention idea in order to achieve the correct drafting standards
- Review and approves the outputs of the patent drafting process in order to ensure that the drafting matches the standards set for the correct drafting
- Plan implements and follows up the procedures for submitting patent applications in cooperation with legal specialists in order to obtain patents on time
- Supports technical and legal professionals in the application process
- Responsible for the technical documents of intellectual property protection operations with the aim of achieving project management standards and the process of acquiring expertise and knowledge
- Plan monitors and searches for technologies and documents their results in order to define the roadmap for technology development projects
- Plan and follows up innovation activities, whether from sources within the company or from external sources, in order to reach innovative ideas and turn them into technology development projects
- Plan and follows up on team capacity building activities in order to reach the required level of skills and knowledge
- Measure and analyzes the performance of team members in order to improve performance and achieve desired goals
Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Masters or PHD is a plus
- 8-12 years of experience in a relevant field
- Investigate new technologies and constantly update his/her technical knowledge and skills
- Research, design, implementation of innovative manufacturing solutions, review, timely project submission, and high-quality specifications
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
- Highly organized, analytical, and has an eye for details
