Job description:
• Engaging in negotiations to get the greatest deal with a new supplier
• Draft contracts for the new suppliers.
• Creation of the new Products
• Calculating the New Stock Forecast
• Creating Purchase Order
• Keep track of the supplier's stock availability and create POs depending on our stock requirements.
• Market survey Daily to control the prices vs other competitors
• Book Rebates, monthly branding, additional support (CN), and back margin
• Price List update
• Promotion for event campaign
• Creating a Weekly Catalog
• Keep track of margin loss and vendor compensation.
• Handle ageing stock levels by moving stock to a different area, asking the supplier for additional support to clear it off, creating a special offer, or Give the supplier back the stock.
• Work with the supplier to arrange display units and promoter availability.
• Work with the finance and inventory teams to resolve invoice concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Having min. 5 years of purchasing experience in Retail
- Good communication and influencing skills
- Strong ability to coordinate cross functional projects,
- Result oriented / problem solver
- Effective planning & organizational skills
- Ability to learn quickly; to have dynamic & positive personality, to be proactive
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
- Experience in White Goods sector is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience in international environment will be an asset
