Technical Support Specialist – Automotive Paints

  • Advise paint technicians or applicators on a proper application of paints to ensure painting work is carried out in accordance with specification and supplier approved procedures.
  • Provide the staff onsite testing in accordance with the paint specifications and standards to ensure the quality of the finish and application.
  • control technical functions and staff coverage including technical emails, live chat, and phone services.
  • Oversee all Paint technical documents including; TDS, MSDS & warranty.
  • Provide customer assistance on Automotive Paints technical issues as requested by Customers
  • Support QA with assistance on test methods and establishment of product quality standards.
  • Oversee process for color approval and development with the customer.
  • Analyze product complaints and coordinate with QC lab, production, etc to take appropriate steps to avoid future repetitions of similar complaints.
  • Coordinate with QC lab R&D on product troubleshooting to ensure that right recommendation is provided to the customer.
  • Prepare Technical Reports for the staff in charge of area of responsibility.
  • Prepare, distribute information and present technical seminars regarding Company products to agents, distributors, new employees, and customers so that they understand the features, advantages and benefits of Company products.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Science chemistry is required.Prior technical service or product development experience.Demonstrated leadership experience.Strong knowledge and experience 5 – 7 years of Automotive paints, Industrial or Refinish paintsStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with MS Office Suite is required.Arabic & English speaker is preferred.Holding a car is a must.
