The Chocolate Production Lead is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the chocolate production process, ensuring high-quality products, efficient operations, and adherence to food safety standards. This role combines technical expertise in chocolate making with leadership skills to drive continuous improvement and meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production of the chocolate process, and manage and optimize the production team.
- Develop and implement production plans to meet sales plans.
- Analyze and improve production processes for quality enhancement and cost benefits.
- Maintain and enforce quality control standards, including GMP, Food Safety, and HACCP.
- Conduct regular quality checks and address any defects or issues promptly.
- Analyze various processes and applications to recommend process modifications for improvement.
- Ensure the safety of manpower and production processes.
- Calculate and report on production wastage and costing.
- Train and develop team members on production processes and quality standards.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Food Science, or a related field.7-10 years of experience in chocolate or confectionery production, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Expert knowledge of chocolate production processes.Strong understanding of food safety standards, GMP, and HACCP.Proficiency in production planning and inventory management.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Good communication and interpersonal skills.
