General Purpose of the Job
We are seeking a skilled Modern Trade Supervisor responsible for overseeing sales and business development in the modern trade sector, including key accounts such as Carrefour and Metro Market. The ideal candidate will manage the marketing and usher teams to ensure effective product presentation and drive customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Management: Implement the sales strategy for modern trade and achieve sales targets.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and manage the marketing and usher teams, ensuring they effectively showcase products to enhance customer experience.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met.
- Market Analysis: Monitor competitor activities and provide insights to the sales management team.
- Policy Implementation: Ensure adherence to company policies regarding promotions, pricing, and product displays.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to the area manager on team performance, market developments, and sales results.
- Performance Evaluation: Conduct evaluations for team members to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
- Budget Management: Assist in preparing and managing the budget for the modern trade department.
- Contract Management: Draft and review contracts with clients, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Modern Trade Supervisor, preferably within FMCG companies.Transportation: Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a car is essential.Legal Knowledge: Proficient in drafting and reviewing contracts, with an understanding of legal implications.Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a strategic mindset.
