Purpose of the job

Providing the needed solutions and tools for the different network teams and providing the technical support for these applications to ensure the highest performance and data availability.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Managing the different Network Management Solutions upgrades and development projects to deliver the different Mobile & Fixed network teams business requirements.
  • Providing required technical support for all Mobile & Fixed network operations & planning teams on the required time.
  • Monitoring the Mobile & Fixed network management solutions performance.
  • Performing the needed backup & system health check for each system to ensure proactive support.
  • Understanding user requirements and pay attention to fine details.
  • Handling several applications effectively with the expected flexibility according to the the business needs & priorities.
  • Keeping close & effective communication with the applications suppliers.
  • Maintaining good relations with the users domains based on the gained trust and technical knowledge.
  • Coordinating with the different internal teams or suppliers to find permanent solutions for the frequently reported problems and investigate potential areas for applications improvement in accordance with the application availability and performance.
  • Administering network of the different data network devices connected to each NMS solutions including Troubleshooting Connectivity problems, Operational BSCs migrations, Devices Capacity Planning, S/W support and H/W support.
  • Transferring the knowledge to the new hires and help them to maintain their knowledge curve and define their priorities.

Job specification

Education

  • B.Sc. In computer engineering or communications.

Experience

  • Minimum two years of experience.
  • Good understanding of the telecom industry & IT standards
