Material Management Section Head “Warehouse & Inventory Management"

  • Develop the warehouses work plans and operations in alignment with the company high level objectives.
  • Work with production, planning, and other management members to align the warehouses operations with the production goals.
  • Manage the preparation of all warehouses in terms of capacity and spaces, manpower planning, and tool availability to match the planned warehouse operations.
  • Participate with the supply chain manager in setting the warehouses budgets in alignment with the production plans.
  • Oversee and monitor the warehouses activities across all the lines of business and production.
  • Oversee and ensure a seamless in and out operations of all warehouses.
  • Maintain and promote health and safety procedures across all work stages.
  • Set and enforce the work procedures and quality standards that maximize efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Manage the performance of the whole team, ensure that the team is performing up to the desired standards.
  • Represent the material management team inside the management meetings and present the needed updates and work progress.
  • Resolve complicated operations issues in alignment with the supervisor.
  • Oversee the capacity planning of warehouses and ensure they are working with the highest standards.
  • Review all the procedures and work instructions and ensure they are updated and properly followed by the team.
  • Represent the team in cross functional meetings, prepare needed documents, and resolve issues as needed as well as cascade all needed information and updates to the rest of the team.
  • Monitor and proactively prevent downtimes and work with the supervisor to elevate the work operations.
  • Ensure highest quality level at all work areas in the materials stores as well as to achieve the related targets.
  • Analyze and work on different operations reports including work efficiency, warehouses utilization and capacity, health and safety standards and optimize where needed.

Job Requirements:- B.Sc of Engineering or equivalent.- 8- 10 years of experience in the same role with at least 4 years in a supervisory / managerial role.- Automotive manufacturing background is a must.- Strong Leadership & People management abilities.- Certified SCM is preferred.- Familiarity with ERP Systems.- Excellent Communication skills.- Excellent Command of English (Written & Spoken). - Work Conditions:* Location: 4th Industrial Zone, 6th of October City.* 2 Days off.* Transportation is provided.
