Design and Drawings:
- Create and review architectural drawings and plans using AutoCAD (2D Working Drawings and Shop Drawings).
- Ensure all designs meet the required specifications and standards.
- Update drawings and designs based on client feedback and site conditions.
Quantity Surveying (QS) and BOQ Preparation: - Prepare detailed BOQs for projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct site surveys to verify quantities and measurements.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to extract final QS from the site upon project completion.
- Update and maintain QS records throughout the project lifecycle.
Contract Document Preparation:
- Prepare and review all contract documents, ensuring they comply with company and legal standards.
- Oversee the extraction of (interim payment certificates) and ensure timely submission.
- Work with the legal team to finalize contracts with clients and subcontractors.
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Assist in project planning and scheduling to ensure timely completion of tasks (if required).
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure materials are delivered on time and meet project specifications (if required).
- Liaise with site supervisors to monitor progress and address any issues that arise (if required).
Quality Control:
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards (if required).
- Provide technical advice and support to site supervisors and subcontractors (if required).
- Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
Client and Subcontractor Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries from clients and subcontractors.
- Attend client meetings to discuss project progress and address any concerns.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines (if required).
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all project-related documents, including drawings, BOQs, and contracts.
- Prepare regular reports on project status, highlighting any issues or delays.
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture with 2-6 years of experience in technical office roles.Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating shop drawings.Preparation of shop drawings, material submittals, and BOQs, along with cost estimation.Attention to detail and accuracy in drawings, specifications, and documentation to prevent errors during construction.Strong project management, communication, and teamwork skills to collaborate with site teams and stakeholders.
