Purpose of the job

Designing and developing the new IN products and services & Assessing and applying the business needs

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assessing technically the projects requested by different teams to make sure they meet the KPI and performance requirements.
  • Contributing in setting the new solutions.
  • Developing the new CRs on IN and supporting nodes
  • Auditing the system logs and behavior to ensure of system performance
  • Correlating and administrating the incidents solving actions.
  • Validating the data charging testing scenarios and coordinate with revenue assurance.
  • Delivering the Level 2 support for data stream platforms to apply the best solutions of the problem to avoid any impact on customers .
  • Troubleshooting the problems and customer complaints by analyzing traces to minimize the time of problem solving .
  • Automating a manual tasks to have an automation controlled work instructions.
  • Performing the needed reporting & data extraction tasks.
  • Preparing know/how sessions for other teams for the technical knowledge transfer
  • Analyzing the QOS regular performance reports generated from the network to provide and suggest technical solutions to the products and services department.
  • Revising the new project proposals and plans in term of performance , stability , operations standards , security , capacity capabilities and quality .
  • Determining project quality & operations specifications by studying product design and performance standards.
  • Confirming product performance by designing and conducting the tests.
  • Maintaining new project schedule according to the priorities.
  • Coordinating with the revenue assurance & the billing team during the project implementation & deployment phases & deliver the needed controlled scenarios tests.
  • Performing all the administrative tasks to control system performance and maintain system capabilities.
  • Analyzing and providing the necessary information for the service improvements plans (Service Level Agreement, services Quality of Service, supervision),
  • Developing solutions instead of supplier for cost saving approach & to accelerate the new projects delivery .
  • Developing a statistic reports that are helping the commercial in strategic decision toward offers & promotions.

Job specification

Education

  • Bachelor's degree In telecommunication / electronics or Computer engineering / Computer Science.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience, 2 of which in The Same Field.
  • Experience on IN Product and Services systems.

Skills and abilities

  • Skills on UNIX scripting, Oracle and programing skills

  • Very good English both written & spoken.
  • Very good computer skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • High business sense.
  • Very good in communication skills and able to solve dispute issues with win-win solution.
  • Knowledge about GSM system hierarchy
  • Ability to perform under stress
  • Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively , both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
  • Be of high aptitude and keen on detail.
  • SS7 signaling knowledge
