Job Overview
The Sales Support Engineer will provide pre-sales & technical support for the Company's sales team, conducts cold calls & marketing with new clients, present the company products and services, and develop client relationships & communications. The candidate shall be able to prepare proposals, quote & document the offers' phases and weekly reports. Project handling and follow up skills to ensure maximizing successful sales opportunities.
Will be responsible for Mechanical Control Equipment’s (All types of Valves like Safety, PRVs, Control, Choke, Gate, etc.) for Oil & Gas, Power, Water, Fertilizer, Chemical and most heavy industrial processes sectors.
Role and Responsibilities
- Generating new leads through approaching potential clients by telephone calls, emails and other creative methods.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after sales support.
- Conduct research to identify new markets, customer needs, developing sales plan & conducting sales visits.
- Understand client requirements and identify the need from our product portfolio.
- Proposals preparation (Study & select of models), follow-up on projects & enquiries, monitoring & documentation, coordination with suppliers and negotiations.
- Technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will fit clients' needs.
- Sell products by establishing & maintain contact and developing relationships with prospects, recommending solutions, providing support and guidance.
- Researching and recommending new opportunities and contribute in service enhancements.
- Complete sales cycle monitoring from lead to close.
- Assist in implementing the sales strategy as set by the Sales Manager.
- Daily reporting and progress updates.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, and Petroleum) or any related field. Instrumentation & Control field background is preferred.From 0-3 years experience in technical. Previous sales experience is a plus.Very Good Command of English.
