Position Summary

The main purpose of this role is to lead and follow up on all safety issues in any site in the market supporting, coaching, training all employees. inspection & ensure compliance of sites with SHE policies & procedures. driving site initiative to continuous improvement in SHE performance in line with Nestle continuous excellence mindset of zero incidents.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

  • Maintain SHE certificates (ISO 45001& ISO 14001).
  • Establish and Review SHE policies and procedures as per local and Nestle standards requirements and ensure their implementation via related departments.
  • Conduct investigation for all incidents on assigned site & prepare related corrective & preventive actions.
  • Conduct risk assessment to all sites activities & integrate action plans’ results with tracking system.
  • Ensure availability of PPE according to PPE matrix on sites & its usage.
  • Conduct & lead fire drills & prepare reports accordingly.
  • Facilitate and conduct SHE induction training for visitors, Contractors, and facility teams.
  • Generate reports from BBSHE system and follow up on actions
  • Prepare semi-annual statistics & deliver it to labor office & ensure any other compliance
  • Assist the SHE Manager in the development of a long-term plan to deliver SHE objectives.
  • Advise the Site Leadership team in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environment matters.
  • Lead Safety, Health and Environment projects to assist in delivery of sites.
  • Conduct SHE inspections & participate in audits at other business locations.
  • Ensure compliance with local Laws and Regulations & Nestlé SHE standards.
  • Develop & Monitor safety KPI’s for incidents, internal audits, behavior-based safety (BBSHE/SHE PM etc.), contractor management, Machinery Safety, Road Safety, SHE Pillar, ERP & tracking system for action plans.
  • Prepare annual operating plan (Budget) including CAPEX needed for projects.
  • Lead & coordinate sites safety com. Meetings & follow up on implementation of action plans.

What will make you successful?

  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Certified safety specialist OSHA certified, NIBOSH.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Full proficiency in English language skills.
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office tools is a must (excel in specific).
