As a Senior Site Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical works on-site to ensure they align with project designs and standards. You will collaborate closely with the project team, subcontractors, and safety officers to ensure timely and quality delivery of all electrical components while adhering to health and safety protocols.

Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:

Project Coordination and Equipment Management:

• Coordinate the use of project equipment within the assigned area, ensuring proper usage with site managers and engineers.
• Supervise the movement of equipment to execute electrical tasks and verify that all work aligns with the approved project drawings and designs.

Design Review and Implementation:

• Receive and review electrical engineering designs, cross-check them with topographic maps and site elevations to ensure feasibility.
• Study and validate the application of designs on-site, ensuring accurate execution according to engineering specifications.

Project Schedule Adherence:

• Follow the project timeline prepared by the scheduling engineer, ensuring all stages of the project are completed as per the predefined deadlines.
• Monitor and enforce the priority execution plan, tracking and reporting on project progress.

Material and Resource Management:

• Identify the requirements for materials, tools, and equipment for the workers in the designated area of the project.
• Obtain necessary approvals from the site manager and ensure timely delivery of resources to meet project needs.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:

• Ensure the application of health and safety standards at the site, coordinating with the occupational safety supervisor for enforcement.
• Monitor the cleanliness and organization of the site to guarantee safety, ensuring smooth equipment movement and hazard-free conditions.

Subcontractor and Stakeholder Supervision:

• Oversee subcontractors’ work to ensure adherence to the project’s engineering designs, specifications, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with subcontractors to address issues, ensuring project timelines are met without compromising quality or safety.

Quality Control and Assurance:

• Work closely with the quality control department to ensure all executed work meets required quality standards.
• Inspect completed work, review test results, and resolve any non-compliance issues in coordination with quality control teams.

Site Maintenance and Safety Management:

• Oversee the cleanliness of the project site, ensuring that obstructions are removed and equipment movement is efficient.
• Ensure that site safety protocols are maintained to protect the workforce and equipment performance.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4 years of experience at least in electrical site supervision for large-scale construction projects (experience with hospitals, malls, and hotels is preferable).Excellent knowledge of construction drawings, standards, and electrical codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and work under pressure to meet tight project deadlines.
