- Create and develop fashion designs that align with the brand's vision.
- Research current fashion trends and consumer preferences.
- Select fabrics, colors, and patterns to suit the design concept.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop ideas for new products based on research data.
- Create technical drawings and specifications for the production team.
- Present new designs to stakeholders and adjust based on feedback.
- Attend fashion shows, events, and meetings to gather inspiration and stay updated with industry trends.
- Testing and deciding on fabrics, colors, patterns and textures for each design
- Manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines.
- Communicating technical design information for customer samples.
- Creating tech packs with detailed specifications
- Developing CAD sketches to present to stakeholders
- Overseeing the prototype sample process
- Working with the design team to create mood boards
Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or Fashion Design or related field.Proven experience as a Fashion Designer or similar role.Knowledge of different fabrics, construction techniques, and garment design.Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.Excellent communication and time-management skills.Ability to work both independently and in a team.Good command in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point).
