- Communicating with clients and entering all data into the customs software.
- Participating in the calculation and processing of fees and taxes to be paid.
- Preparing and determining the correct licensing based on the type of goods being imported.
- Attending meetings with customs officials regarding the implementation of duty refunds.
- Collaborating with the team to reclassify tariffs as necessary and assisting with any forthcoming appeals.
- Issuing bonds for imported products or assisting clients in obtaining bonds.
- Preparing necessary import documents such as certificates of origin and shipment control documents.
- Communicating with officials in various agencies to ensure the clearance of goods through customs.
- Arranging transportation and storage or distribution of imported or exported goods and coordinating with shipping agents.
- Staying updated on field developments and understanding and adapting to changes occurring in the industry.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in importation and holding a customs clearance license.Bachelors degreeShould be able to interact with all relevant authorities involved in the export and import procedures.
