- Managing, organizing and controlling the department.
- Along with others, lead, develop and support the strategic direction, vision, values and priorities of the school
- Technical distribution of schedules at the beginning and in the middle of the school year.
- Full responsibility for distributing substitution classes within the department.
- Organizing and following up the early leave and absence permissions of the department's teachers.
- Communicating with the educational administration to obtain the curriculum of each new academic year and distributing it to the members of the department.
- Holding regular monthly meetings to discuss the department's requirements and updates.
- Holding monthly workshops to train the department's teachers.
- Following-up the curriculum progress and how much is covered through the field visits of the department's teachers.
- Evaluating the performance of the department teachers every month.
- Developing and reviewing monthly exams for the three academic grades.
- Following-up the students' levels after the monthly tests and developing an action plan for low-achiever students.
- Participating in the admission process and other projects through preparing a question bank and participating in the interviews with the students.
- Supervising the paperwork preparation of the department's teachers.
- Supervising the preparation and submitting of mid- and end-year examinations.
- Directing the correction of the students’ answers of the mid-year and final exams.
