Digital Marketing Manager

Will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing online marketing strategies to promote a company's products or services, increase brand awareness, and drive traffic and sales. In an e-commerce context, they play a crucial role in business growth by optimizing various digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy Development:
    • Create and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to achieve business goals.
    • Identify the best channels (e.g., SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing) for customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  2. Campaign Management:
    • Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, display ads) to drive conversions.
    • Create and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture customer relationships and drive repeat purchases.
  3. Content & SEO:
    • Oversee content marketing efforts such as blogs, product pages, and social media posts to improve organic traffic.
    • Implement and monitor SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and website traffic.
  4. Social Media Management:
    • Develop a social media strategy to increase engagement and brand awareness.
    • Monitor social media performance and optimize for better reach and engagement.
  5. Analytics & Reporting:
    • Track and measure the performance of all digital marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, and other reporting platforms.
    • Provide insights and recommendations for optimization based on data-driven results.
  6. Budget Management:
    • Allocate and manage digital marketing budgets across different channels to maximize ROI.
    • Ensure cost-effective advertising through continuous optimization of bidding strategies and ad targeting.
  7. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the sales, product, and creative teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
    • Coordinate with external vendors, influencers, or agencies, if applicable.
  8. Customer Experience & Retention:
    • Utilize digital marketing channels to improve customer experience and retention strategies, such as loyalty programs or personalized campaigns.
    • Develop and maintain customer personas to create targeted marketing messages.
  9. Technology & Automation:
    • Implement marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp) to streamline repetitive tasks and improve customer segmentation.
    • Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends and tools.

Key Skills:

  • Paid Advertising (PPC) – Proficiency in running and optimizing Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and other platforms.
  • SEO – Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Data Analytics – Ability to analyze campaign data and extract actionable insights.
  • Content Marketing – Understanding of how to craft compelling content that drives engagement and conversions.
  • Social Media Management – Experience in running organic and paid social media campaigns.
  • Email Marketing – Proficiency with email marketing tools and techniques for nurturing leads and promoting repeat purchases.
  • Marketing Automation – Familiarity with CRM and automation tools to drive efficiency and personalization.
  • Budgeting & ROI Tracking – Ability to manage budgets effectively and track the return on investment for marketing activities.
  • Project Management – Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously.

Education and Experience:

  • Degree: Typically, a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, particularly in e-commerce or a similar industry.
  • Certifications (Optional): Certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Blueprint, or HubSpot are often desirable.
