Role Purpose

The Comms & On ground Senior Specialist is responsible for the management & execution of the foundation projects working closely with the Foundation lead to drive digital, social media and on-ground campaigns promoting the Foundation’s Hero project (Ta3imy) amongst the community and increasing the number of its’ beneficiaries as well as attracting volunteers through the Yala Sharek platform.

Role Profile

  • Assist in driving and executing all communications campaigns on the foundation’s social media channels and digitally.
  • Manage social media pages on the different platforms for Vodafone Egypt Foundation.
  • Support in the implementation cycle of on ground activities of all foundation pillars and its flagship programs; Carries out research activities and gathers insights required for planning and implementation of education, health and volunteering on-ground activities. 
  • Carries out foundation event planning and logistics to carry out volunteer, fundraising and mega events 
  • Manages all Foundation volunteers including support and champion volunteers.
  • Supports cooperation and ensures regular contact with foundation stakeholders and partners.
  • Manages foundation vendors ensuring positive direction and brand positioning.
  • Supports the development of beneficiaries’ stories and testimonials and maintenance of photo galleries.
  • Support in reinforcing Vodafone’s relations with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Competencies and Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in development, public outreach programs, and management of projects. 
  • Service Oriented – delivers outstanding impact for foundation beneficiaries
  • Motivates suppliers', stakeholders & partners to perform 
    best results 
  • Able to perform, deliver, and derive projects to achieve great results
