Job Purpose:
This role is responsible for all Orascom Development’s facilities in El Gouna; developing financial, operational, and maintenance plans in alignment with El Gouna’s overall strategy and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Sets short and long term plans for the facility department ensuring alignment with El Gouna overall strategy.
- Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facility expansion.
- Inspects construction and installation progress through coordination with contractors to ensure that the delivery is in accordance with the quality and time specified.
- Sets pricing policies according to Orascom Development’s strategies.
- Controls the cash flow and monitors the return on assets.
- Approves purchasing and placement of furniture, fixtures, and equipment within all facilities in accordance with EI-Gouna standards.
- Develops an effective operational plan to ensure the delivery of high-quality services according to the company and market standards.
- Implements a comprehensive maintenance plan for the facilities as per El Gouna quality standards.
- Ensures quality service provision to clients by resolving customer complaints, answering queries regarding property contracts, installations and any requested extra furniture.
- Coordinates with Human Resources department the implementation of policies, plans and people management processes.
- Instils a performance driven culture within the team.
- Mentors direct repartee's by encouraging a culture of learning and self-development for current responsibilities and future succession planning initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience.
- Languages: Arabic & English fluently spoken and written.
- Computer skills: MS Office (word, excel).
- Excellent Organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Thorough follow-up and reporting, problem solving skills, and ability to manage a team.
- High leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
