Designs and executes tests to evaluate system performance under extreme conditions, optimizing speed and scalability
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute performance tests to assess the speed, scalability, and stability of software applications.
- Develop and implement stress testing strategies to evaluate system performance under extreme conditions.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement in the system architecture.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and enhance user experience.
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for enhancing system performance and reliability.
- Create performance test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Monitor system performance metrics during testing and report on key performance indicators.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in stress and performance testing methodologies.
- Designing and implementing automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage. This may involve using tools such as (Selenium , TestNG JMeter, LoadRunner).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.+2 Years Experience in Performance & stress TestProven experience in stress testing and performance testing of software applications.Familiarity with testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar performance testing tools.Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret performance test results.Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Ability to prioritize workload and meet project deadlines.Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.Certification in Certified Tester Foundation Level-Performance is preferred Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) for test automation.
