Job Objective
Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with GEPD company polices & vision. The Warehouse Manager oversees daily operations in plasma derivatives manufacturing facilities and raw material warehouses, semi-finished product warehouses and finished product warehouses. This critical role involves managing inventory, ensuring safety, and optimizing warehouse efficiency. The Warehouse Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams (packaging, quality, procurement, planning) to facilitate timely order fulfillment and maintain regulatory compliance.
Environment
Internal: Supply chain director, senior management, maintenance, manufacturing, IT, and quality.
External: Vendors and suppliers, logistics, clients, and regulatory agents.
Key Responsibility
- Inventory Management: Safely store and track goods to prevent damage or loss.
- Team Leadership: Supervise warehouse staff handling receiving, shipping, and storage.
- Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely material delivery.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and receipts.
- Safety Enforcement: Develop and enforce safety policies to comply with regulations.
- Space Optimization: Maximize warehouse efficiency by organizing storage layouts.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance warehouse processes.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
- Set process flow to ensure efficient space utilization.
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
- Audit and report inventory stock and perform proper reconciliation upon necessary.
- Ensure adherence to all warehousing, handline and shipping legislation requirements.
- Maintain standards of health and safety hygiene and security.
- Prepare annual budget and monitor it, liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
- Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate warehouse staff.
- Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN / OUT) status report, dead stock report etc.)
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
Academic Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
- Post-graduate degree is preferred .
- Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.
- Certification in warehouse management or logistics (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional, CSCP) is a plus.
Professional Experience Required
- 10 + years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Experience with automated warehouse systems and technologies.
- Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs
- SAP experience
Computing Skills
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
